HI THERE!

Long time, no post! Like... almost a whole YEAR. Please don't think I'm not responsible enough to tap a keyboard, but in my defense, I've been a very busy person these past several months.
First of all, i did end up having surgery for my scoliosis about a month ago. We went in at 5Am the morning of December 9th, 2009. 3 hours late, I was waking up from anesthesia in the recovery room. But y'all know I can't do anything normal, so guess how I mixed this experience up. I did a complete flip in the recovery bed and ended up with my head at the foot of it. Ripping out all my IVs in the process. The exact same IVs they could not replace and the ones that were giving me my glorious pain medication. So I came back to earth from my "deep sleep" with NO PAIN MEDICATION,and a traumatized nurse trying to calm me down while they had some people get another IV. I barely remember anything, just asking the nurse to get my parents, and being declined because i was in too bad of a situation for visitors. Whatever. I was in deep pain at my 4 day hospital days, but when I got home, it was MUCH better. Just being home gave me the feeling that I knew I'd start doing better every day. Now, a month later, I'm at school, (with a backpack), and getting around really well. God has been with me the whole way. I still feel small amounts of pain here and there, but nothing is permanent.
I'll try to post before 2011. Happy New Year by the way! My B-day was Jan. 3rd, and I got a little over 80 bucks. I had a pretty good Christmas, too! Hope the same is for you guys!

I just wanted to let y'all know about this amazing author who has really wonderful messages in every on of her books. She has 2 series that i know of. 1st- The Katie Parker Production Series- I'm just now getting into this one. It's mainly about a ward of the state of texas who has just gotten some temporary parents in this settle little town called In Between, Texas. We're talkin tinier than Charleston here... Oh, and did I mention her new father is the pastor at the local community church? This new life is not impressing Katie and she will not give in to the cookies, or the shopping, or the nice new room! I highly suggest you read these 3 books!!!
Another one of her series is the Charmed Life Series. It only has one book included right now,(So Not Happening), but the sequel come out in November. This one's about Bella Kirkwood who's mother gets remarried to a man with 2 sons and they live in Oklahoma. This is a big change from her only child situation in Manhattan. Her socail life, beloved cat relationship, and her Daddy's credit card all fade away in the state of Oklahoma. How does she make it? Well, she smells something smelly in the town of Truman- and it's not the cow buisness.

I can't move my arms!!!!

Hi again! Thank you for reading my blog. This post is going to be about my "vacation" yesterday. My mom, Cindy, her sister and my aunt, Angie, two of her sons (my cousins), Levi(13) and Kyle(17 or 18.. I think?) and I went to Hot Springs, AR. to my mom and aunt's buisness meating there in the theme park called Magic Springs. This was supossed to have tons of greast rides, and the park does, but the recent rain there had 10 of those rides shut down. One of them being The Arkansas Twister, (my favorite), and another being Big Bad John, (my other fave.!). I was really disapointed, but I was still determined to make the most of the trip. We got there at about 11 a.m and we had to report to this pavillion thing at 4:30 p.m for hamburgers and hotdogs for the buissness meeting. Levi and I went to scope out what rides were up and running, (about 5), and three of them were kiddie rides whicch Levi and I rode anyway :). So then, it was time for the water park, Crystle Falls. This is where we basicly spent the whole time either in the wave pool or the lazy river, AND gopt this lovely sun-burn on my face and shoulders. So, all and all it wasn't the BEST vacation, but i sure slept well last night, (besides the burn). The food was great and the ride gave lots of... memories:) since we all rode in one car. Heres hoping where ever your family goes on vacation, YOU don't get burned and have a great time!

hey everyone!

Well, I have some good news and some bad news. So, how about the bad news first, just to get it over with? I went to my scoliosis specailist, Dr. Blasier, and he told us (my mom and I) that my top curve is only getting worse. If it continues to grow, ( If I continue to grow), he said he would really push us towards the surgery option. The good news, actually comes from the bad news. This experience will help me help others who are just starting their journey through this spin-curling disese. ( literaly: spin curling! :). So, please, is anyone's out there reading this, pray, just please pray. You have no idea how much it helps. I would like to thank every individual specailist in every medical feild for taking the time to become who they are, a caring doctor who helps as many patients possible with their studied disese. It gives their patients trust and understanding more than you can believe. Thank You!

HEY! I've see you've decided to read mt blog. Well,here are somethings about me that you might want to know.First, I'm 13 and i have a disese called scoliosis, which means my spine curves.. twice. Email me to know more about that.Next, I'm an only child and i love it! I am probably the most tom-boy person you'll ever know. I hate dresses, despise make up, and never shut up.. al the things that come together to make up my life! I love sports, especaily basketball and softball.. next year im taking up volleyball. I am in no way boy-crazy. Plus, i am the editor of my school newspaper. I am an all A and B honor student scince 1st grade. I hate when people under-estimate me, i guess because im so competitive.
